This is definitely an interesting insight into the strike and the process of coming to equitable terms. It was written by Alfredo Barrios, a writer and former corporate attorney.

Very interesting read,

Very interesting read, written by someone who clearly knows what they're talking about. It takes a lot of language to say, basically, "they're going to try and wait us out, so we need to just hold firm", but it does it in a way that gets me back in the game. I admit, the loss of the award shows and the upcoming DGA negotiations got me longing for a hasty end to this thing. I still want it to end quick, but with a viable contract for the writers. Until then, pencils should stay down.

I liked that they logically

I liked that they logically seperated what was going on and recognized both the CEO's views as well as that of the writers. Not a lot of he said shit and emotional banter, just the facts.

pencils should stay down.

I'm not sure why but when I read this phrase, I thought of entering bubbles on a scantron in school and then digressed to playing heads up 7 up and well, the rambling thoughs just went from there. Does anyone else remember that game?

YES!! I loved that game...

"Pippin: Anyways, you need people of intelligence on this sort of... mission... quest... thing.
Merry: Well, that rules you out, Pip. "

Uh-oh

"and well, the rambling thoughts just went from there"

That's the scariest part of your reply. Your thoughts just went from there to.... what? To murder? To world domination? What is the end result of this?! Where will it end, Trish?!
