Probably not of interest to those of you who don't know them, but the cover of this novel...

...looks so much like a very young Jason Norred and Joey the Mad Scientist that they might have to sue over likeness rights. Which one of them is John, why will he die at the end, and will it be at the jaws of the crocolich that has them in its sights?
