New superman movie
So how is the new superman movie? I just can't imagine it being any good at all without the one and only General Zod. I mean c'mon - everyone knows that Zod is the man. PEOPLE KNEEL BEFORE HIM!
I'm protesting Superman movies until they bring Zod back.

New superman movie
Neal and I went to see it yesterday. Honestly, I REALLY enjoyed it. It was like I was a kid watching the movie again. I thought the guy playing Superman (damn, can't remember his name) was fantastic! I thought the story was fun and exciting. I think it kept very true to the heart of Superman. Also, I truly enjoyed Kevin Spacey. I disagree with the critics. I thought he was great!! Alot of fun to watch.
I say its a must see in the theatre like all good summer movies.
Can't wait for THIS weekend and Pirates 2!

The new Superman is Brandon Routh, who did an excellent job bringing his own style to the character while including an homage to Christopher Reeves' acting.
Spacey did likewise; I think the problem the critics have is that they weren't giving him credit for acting in the same style Gene Hackman used previously. This movie is striving to be as much a sequel to the Donner films as possible with a new cast.
And as far as Zod goes, the Abrams script that was set to be made for a long time essentially included a Zod character. Thank goodness that script didn't get filmed. It was awful.

Well, I loved it. And count your blessings, Jason. The word is that General Zod WAS going to be in the script, but the guy they wanted to play him kept turning it down. That man....
....was Jude Law.
New superman movie
See, if Jude Law had been in it, I would have bothered to go.
Alas, though, I'm not old like everyone so I never saw the originals and I've never been a big Super Man fan, so I don't know if the movie would be that great for me.
