The DRAGON CONspiracy is a Live Action Role Playing game based in the world of Paranoia. The game will be taking place August 31 through September 2nd in Atlanta, GA as a part of Game Programming at DragonCon 2007.
DigiTribe Productions is an entertainment and media production company based in Atlanta GA. Founded in 1994, DigiTribe has been involved in independent record releases, film production, interactive theatre, and other diverse media ventures.
What rule system are you using?
One we made up. We designed a basic rule system that would be simple to use/learn, quick to resolve, and require very little GM intervention in things like Mass Combat.
Do I have to be a DragonCon attendee to play your game?
Yes. This game is being produced specificlly for the Dragon*Con LARP Gaming track. It is convention policy that all gamers must be registered convention-goers.
Is this a Zap/Classic/Straight syle of Paranoia game?
Its our own breed of style. We like to think of it as "Classic with Straight undertones and spontanious moments of Zap!" Basiclly, we wrote a game that would fun to play and to run. We wanted to keep everyone laughing the whole time, but meanwhile have a complex, intriguing storyline.
Can I play a [insert clearance level] character?
The DRAGON CONspiracy uses pregenerated characters assigned clearance levels for specific plot reasons. While most of the characters are "Red", there are a few leadership characters that will be cast from the PCs. These will be cast on a first-come-first-serve basis. So, if you want a shot at them - you will need to preregister!
